Challenge
Boomtown was an unknown tech accelerator with no track record that wanted to generate buzz in the tech community.
Solution
- Created launch campaign geared toward event sponsors, tech startups, investors and the press
- Promoted first and second ‘Demo Days’ in which Boomtown’s startup portfolio companies revealed their new technologies on stage
- Created press kits for all participating startups
Results
- Successfully filled Boulder Theater (900+ seats) twice on weekday afternoons (the second time in the dead of winter)
- Helped put Boomtown on the map as a tech accelerator
